Hi! I’m Anita. I’m a language teacher, but also a language learner!
My own language-learning path started early on in my teenage years, and has never stopped since. I now speak six languages and keep learning more.
I have a degree in Applied Languages with a specialization in Italian and I have worked teaching Italian, Spanish and English to both children and adults, in classroom settings, live one-to-one lessons and online.
I have lived and worked in different countries, and if this has taught me something (apart from the fact that I am awful at packing) is that languages are so much more than just two-dimensional lessons in a book. They are the means to fully connect with others, grasp the nuances of life somewhere. To make you feel at home, no matter where you are.
Any language student has the potential to achieve that feeling, but many lose motivation when confronted with grammar-heavy, desk-taught lessons, large groups where it’s never your turn to speak and an unsynced pace, where you are either left behind and struggling to keep up with the rest of the group -or far ahead getting bored.
I am here to change that, with motivating and meaningful content, stories that will push you to think outside the box and will keep you engaged from the very first day.
